Dr. Mohamed El-Said

Dr. Mohamed El-Said is a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility, currently practicing at Orchid IVF and Fertility Services in Dubai. He holds over 30 years of clinical and academic experience in obstetrics, gynaecology, and assisted reproductive technologies and previously held senior positions at several fertility centres, including Dubai Fertility Center, New Hope IVF, Fakih IVF, and S. Abbas IVF Center. Within these roles he contributed to the development of fertility treatment protocols and assisted reproduction programs.

Dr. El-Said completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with honours from Cairo University in 1988. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1993, with a thesis focused on ultrasound findings in placental abruption. He received his Doctorate in the same field in 1997, completing research on the role of cytokines in severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Since 2009, he has held the title of Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.

His clinical focus includes individualised ovarian stimulation, embryo transfer, recurrent implantation failure, and fertility preservation techniques such as in vitro maturation (IVM) and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). He is a member of ESHRE, ASRM, and MEFS, and alongside this contributes to international research and professional education in reproductive medicine.
