Dr. Maysoon Agarib

Dr. Maysoon Agarib is a Consultant in Geriatric and Internal Medicine, currently practising at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai. Originally from the United States, she holds dual American Board certifications in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.

Dr. Agarib completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Gezira in Sudan, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at One Brooklyn Health in New York. She then undertook a Geriatric Medicine fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. Her professional credentials also include ECFMG certification and registration with the Sudan Medical Council.

Before joining Mediclinic, Dr. Agarib served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and as a Geriatric Consultant at the Moses Division of Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She later worked as a Consultant Geriatrician at Hudson Pointe Subacute Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility in the United States.

Her clinical work focuses on comprehensive care for older adults, including management of chronic diseases, dementia, and age-related conditions. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Agarib is active in research and teaching, contributing to the advancement of geriatric care and patient well-being.
