Dr Marcela Jimenez

Dr Marcela Jimenez is a General Practitioner with more than 20 years of clinical experience in primary care and family medicine across Colombia, Spain, India, and the United Arab Emirates. She provides comprehensive medical care for patients across all age groups, with a strong focus on continuity of care, chronic disease management, and preventive health.

She earned her medical degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, graduating in 2001. She later obtained official recognition as a General Practitioner in Spain through the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in 2010. In addition, she holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Medicine from the Universidad del Rosario.

Dr Jimenez has built a broad international clinical career, working in healthcare systems in multiple countries and gaining experience in diverse clinical environments. Her practice covers general family medicine, paediatrics, occupational health, chronic disease management, minor clinical procedures, telemedicine, emergency care, and primary healthcare services.

She is a member of the Colegio de Médicos de Madrid and also serves as a medical advisor to the humanitarian organisation Rescue Project, supporting healthcare-related initiatives in India and Spain.

Her clinical approach is grounded in holistic, patient-centred care, with an emphasis on prevention, early diagnosis, and long-term management of health conditions. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is experienced in working with multicultural patient populations across different healthcare systems.
