Dr. Louay H. Zayed is a highly experienced Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology with over 20 years of experience in the field. He earned his Doctorate degree in OBGYN from Alexandria University, Egypt and also holds a Foetal Medicine Diploma as well as a Diploma of Ultrasound in OBGYN from Descartes University, Paris. Dr. Zayed is currently based in Dubai, UAE where he works as a consultant specialising in Maternal-foetal medicine, obstetrics, gynaecology, and IVF.

Dr. Zayed has performed a wide range of complex foetal procedures such as intrauterine foetal blood transfusions, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling, helping thousands of pregnant women feel reassured and secure. Additionally, he has a special interest in treating cases of delayed conception and recurrent pregnancy losses, and has helped many couples successfully achieve pregnancy through IVF, intrauterine insemination, and other fertility modalities.

Apart from his clinical practice, Dr. Zayed has held multiple management roles in the healthcare sector, including Director of a governmental regional medical & research institute and founder and director of a private foetal medicine centre in Egypt. He has authored several publications and co-edited teaching books, and is a member of several international organisations in the field of foetal medicine. Dr. Zayed is recognized as a key local figure in the field of maternal-foetal ultrasound and has participated in several training workshops as a mentor.
