Dr Loai Eid

Dr. Loai Eid is a Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist with over 17 years of experience in the field. He completed his Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship programs in the United States, earning certifications from both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatric Nephrology.

Currently serving as the Division Chief and Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist at Dubai Hospital, Dr. Eid also holds the position of Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Mohamed Bin Rashid University & Dubai Medical College.

Dr. Eid's expertise lies in managing a wide range of acute and chronic kidney diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He specialises in congenital kidney diseases in infants, acquired kidney diseases and hypertension in children and adolescents, pre- and post-kidney transplantation management, electrolyte abnormalities, and various other renal conditions.

As the head of the Emirates Pediatric Nephrology Club and the UAE representative at the Asian Society of Pediatric Nephrology, Dr. Eid is actively involved in advancing pediatric nephrology care in the region. He has published articles in renowned international journals and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Eid is also engaged in clinical research both nationally and internationally, contributing to the advancement of pediatric nephrology knowledge and practice.
