Dr Laure Bruchou

Dr Laure Bruchou is an experienced Specialist Cardiologist at German Heart Centre. She is certified in Cardiovascular Medicine by the French Board. She holds a degree from the Faculty of Medicine René Descartes in Paris, and completed her specialty training in cardiology 2005. This was followed by a four year fellowship program with two years spent specialising in intensive care medicine and another two focusing on cardiovascular medicine at Paris University Hospitals. 

During her fellowship in cardiology, she was part of the Cardiomyopathies Reference Center of Paris and participated in research studies and clinical trials. She also helped families affected by cardiomyopathies with diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care.

Dr Bruchou continued her career in private practice at The West Paris Private Hospital, where she set up the cardiac imaging department including stress echocardiography and cardiovascular MRI techniques, as well as coronary arteries TDM. She worked extensively in both the Intensive Coronary Care Unit and General Cardiovascular Diseases departments, making significant contributions to both during her tenure.

Dr Bruchou moved to China in July 2015 with her family, and for three years worked at The Sichuan People Provincial University Hospital of Chengdu. There she assisted in the opening and running of the Cardiovascular Center's Multimodalities Cardiac Imaging Unit. She was also involved in cardiac imaging training across the Sichuan Province, delivering lectures on the subject matter.
