Dr Kishore Kumar

Dr Kishore Kumar is an experienced specialist anaesthesiologist based at Prime Hospital in Dubai. He is experienced in many areas of his field including in transplant anaesthesiology, difficult airway management, ultrasound-guided nerve-blocks and continuous peripheral nerve blocks with catheters, Neuro-Anaesthesia, Critical Care Management, high-risk cases with multiple comorbidities, and Geriatric Anaesthesia. He works closely with the surgical team to enable the best outcomes for his patients. His experience in anaesthetising patients across a range of surgical procedures and situations means that his patients are always in safe hands.

Dr Kumar gained his medical qualifications from PGIMER Chandigarh, India, one of the best institutes for Anaesthesiology in the country. He also received a Diploma in National Board (DNB) Anaesthesiology in 2016 before specialising in Hepato-biliary and Liver Transplant Anaesthesiology. Following his PDCC degree, he completed a Diploma in the European Society of Anaesthesiology (DESA), Brussels.

Dr Kumar has worked in many Critical Care units in India including medical, surgical, hepatic and transplant. He has also worked in the Liver Team at Apollo Hospital, Chennai where he managed the liver ICU team and practised perioperative Transplant Anaesthesiology for Liver, Bowel and Pancreatic Transplant. He has an interest in managing Difficult Airway in Anaesthesiology and in Regional Nerve Blocks using Ultrasound Guidance.
