Dr. Khalid Alawadi is a German Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with almost 21 years of experience in the field of surgery and plastic surgery. He is board certified in plastic surgery from the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS), as well as Board certified in hand surgery from the Federations of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH).

After graduating from Ain Shams University medical school in 1998, Dr. Alawadi received his training in the field of general surgery in Dubai & Abu Dhabi. In 2003, he started his specialized training in Plastic Surgery at Freie University, Berlin as well as at the University of Freiburg, Germany.

In 2013, he established a dedicated center for hand and microsurgery at Rashid hospital, Dubai which became the leading center for hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery in whole UAE. He is head of hand & reconstructive microsurgery unit at Rashid hospital trauma center and director of surgery.

He is president of Emirates and Surgery Society (EHSS) and a past Vice President of Emirates Plastic Surgery Society (EPSS) and member of many international societies.

He is a regional faculty for AO society and a trainer for Allergan medical aesthetics
