Dr Issam Alachkar

Dr. Issam Alachkar is a Senior Consultant ENT Surgeon with over 25 years of experience in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. He is internationally recognised for his expertise, holding memberships and fellowships with leading professional organisations, including the Syrian Society of ENT Head & Neck Surgery (2000), the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (2005), the Inter-American Association of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology (2006), the European Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (2015), PARS (2014), and the Middle East Academy (2015).

Dr. Alachkar’s areas of expertise cover a wide range of ENT subspecialties, including rhinology and septo-rhinoplasty, allergy medicine, and sleep medicine with a focus on the management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. He is highly skilled in otology and endoscopic ear surgeries, advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, and paediatric otolaryngology procedures using coblation techniques. He also has extensive experience in managing balance disorders.
