About Dr Hinah Altaf
Dr Hinah Altaf is a highly experienced dermatologist specialising in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. She completed her Master’s degree in Dermatology at Government Medical College, University of Kashmir in 2009 and went on to build a strong clinical career across teaching hospitals and tertiary care centres. She further advanced her training through a Fellowship in Advanced Dermatology and Dermatosurgery at the National Skin Centre in Singapore, gaining extensive exposure to complex medical and procedural dermatology. In 2019, she achieved the Specialty Certificate Examination in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians (UK), strengthening her international clinical credentials.
Over the past ten years, Dr Altaf has been practicing in leading hospitals in Dubai, where she provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology care. Her clinical expertise includes the management of common and complex skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, urticaria, psoriasis, and skin infections including warts; as well as disorders affecting hair and nails including hair loss, and ingrown nails. She also has experience in biologic therapy for severe inflammatory skin diseases and uses dermoscopy for detailed evaluation of skin lesions. Alongside her medical dermatology work, she performs a range of aesthetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, PRP therapy, microneedling, and laser-based treatments.
