Dr Hamid Karimi

Dr Hamid Karimi is a Professor of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Dento Faces Cosmetic Clinic in Dubai. He is certified by the American National Board in both General Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr Karimi has over 20 years of experience in plastic and aesthetic surgery and over 10 years of experience in general surgery. He completed his medical degree in 1989 and his General Surgery degree in 1993 at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He became qualified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Iran University of Medical Sciences and completed a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Surgery in Paris, France.

In his current position, he carries out a range of plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures, including: blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, tummy tuck, liposuction, breast implants, face lift, brow lift and chemical peel. He also has expertise in burn reconstruction and cleft lip & palate reconstruction.

As a Professor, he trains more than 12 fellows every year in plastic surgery. He is also a member of various academic journal editorial boards, including JAD Journal, and PRS-GO Journal. He has published over 70 scientific papers in his field of expertise in well recognised peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Karimi is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the International Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
