Dr Hala Abi-Rached is a well experienced Consultant Dermatologist at Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai with over 20 years of experience. She obtained her medical degree and dermatology training at Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Lebanon in 2001 and 2005. She later completed training in both adult and paediatric dermatology at Tenon Hospital and Necker Hospital in Paris. Dr Abi-Rached also holds a diploma in Dermatological Lasers and Aesthetic Dermatology from Lille University, France.

Starting her career in 2008 at Saint-George Hospital University Medical Center in Beirut, she served as a full-time dermatologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Balamand. Her contributions led to her appointment as Acting Chief of the Division of Dermatology in 2009, and she became the Program Director in 2018. Since October 2019, she has held the position of Chief of the Division of Dermatology. Additionally, she was named Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Balamand in 2013.

Dr Abi-Rached has played a pivotal role in advancing dermatology in Lebanon. She organised and chaired the First Seminar of Paediatric Dermatology in Lebanon and the Middle East in 2010, featuring seven international speakers. In 2014, she led an international seminar in Beirut for Genetic Skin Diseases, contributing significantly to the development of paediatric dermatology in Lebanon.

Actively engaged in the Lebanese Society of Dermatology since 2005, Dr Abi-Rached has made international contributions as an invited speaker at various meetings.. She has also participated in international workshops, courses, and masterclasses in surgery, dermoscopy, and aesthetic dermatology.

In 2015, she was elected to the Genodermatoses Network Scientific Committee (France) and nominated as a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology in 2018 (USA).

Dr Abi-Rached has co-authored 26 articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to a book chapter in the "Epstein’s Inborn Errors of Development" Oxford Edition 2016. As a solo author, she wrote another chapter in the "Thérapeutique Dermatologique online, Louis Dubertret 2017," with an ongoing third chapter in the "Thérapeutique Dermatologique, Louis Dubertret".
