Ms Fathema Hasham

A Brunel University, West London graduate, Fathema is a registered Occupational Therapist under the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). In addition, Fathema is certified in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California.

Fathema’s experience is from various backgrounds such as the UK, Tanzania and Dubai within different settings; schools, rehabilitation centers and private practice for more than 14 years. Her experiences include working in rehabilitation and supporting children with physical and learning difficulties such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s syndrome, Autism, sensory processing disorder as well as clients with acute mental health concerns. She is passionate about working with children using fun and creative activities and enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment for clients and assist them to reach their full potential.

Fathema is a highly motivated practitioner who has outstanding initiative to find effective methods to support clients individual needs and build personal relationships that enable trust and positive communication to develop. Fathema has a strong belief in collaboration with parents to ensure a consistent approach that supports the child in all aspects of their life to deliver the best outcome. Her approach is focused on enabling children to achieve their goals and be the best they can be.
