Mr Caolan McGilly

Caolan has developed a broad range of experiences over a seven year period of working in the UK, Australia and Middle East. His vast practice includes working with clients experiencing physical and learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder and various sensory integration challenges.

Caolan has worked in an array of clinical settings ranging from acute, educational and community setting, which have assisted him with acquiring widespread knowledge and familiarity of a wide spectrum of health disorders.

Caolan began his career with the NHS in Northern Ireland as a Learning Disabilities Occupational Therapist working with both children and adults. Caolan then transitioned to Sydney, Australia where he worked at Montefiore Residential Care, one of Australia’s leading age providers.

Caolan returned to Ireland in 2020 to take up the role of Senior Occupational Therapist in the Community Learning Disability Team. Later, Caolan channelled his expertise into managing a residential unit for clients with neurodiverse needs.

Caolan has a particular interest in working with children who may require additional support with sensory integration, fine motor development and visual perceptual skills.

Caolan is passionate about his work and takes great pride in helping children achieve their full potential and excel inside and outside the classroom, while promoting their independence.
