Dr Farida Ali

Dr Farida Ali is a UK-certified Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience. She is currently working as a consultant at the American Hospital Dubai and Lutetia Clinic. 

She completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Birmingham, UK in 1994, followed by extensive surgical training in London and the UK including higher specialist training in Plastic Surgery in the prestigious Pan Thames Residency Programme. Dr Ali further honed her skills through specialised fellowships in Aesthetic Surgery in London and Reconstructive Surgery in Taiwan and London, all of which complemented her deep interest in breast and reconstructive surgery. 

She became a Fellow in Plastic Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008 prior to board certification in Plastic Surgery in April 2009.

For 14 years, Dr Ali served as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Clinical Lead for Breast Reconstruction at St George's Hospital in London. Her primary focus lies in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, where she offers a comprehensive range of services, including breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lifting, and reconstruction, using either implants or the patient's own tissue (autologous reconstruction). Driven by her belief in empowering women, she is dedicated to providing them with the knowledge they need to make informed choices, offering insights into surgical options, risks, benefits, and long-term outcomes.

Alongside her work in breast surgery, Dr Ali offers cosmetic and reconstructive procedures for the body, including abdominoplasty, repair of post-pregnancy abdominal wall weakness (rectus divarication), liposuction, and body contouring. She also specialises in addressing general plastic surgery conditions, such as the treatment of skin cancers, removal of lumps and bumps, and the management of symptomatic scars.
