Ms Elyssa Abou Jamra

Elyssa Abou Jamra is a physiotherapist at Diversified Integrated Sports Clinic (DISC) in Abu Dhabi, with a strong focus on musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She has experience working with a wide range of patients, including those with chronic pain, spinal conditions, and postural issues. Elyssa is committed to delivering personalised care plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals.

Prior to joining DISC, Elyssa worked across several healthcare settings in Lebanon and the UAE, including Czech Rehabilitation Hospital and El Arz Hospital. Her clinical approach is both holistic and integrative, combining manual therapy techniques with targeted rehabilitation and strength programming. She takes special interest in acute and chronic spinal conditions, postural correction, and ergonomic health.

In practice, Elyssa uses a range of therapeutic techniques such as joint mobilisation, soft-tissue mobilisation (including deep tissue and trigger point release), dry needling, dry cupping, and kinetic control for the lower limb. She also incorporates gut therapy and strength and conditioning strategies to support recovery and long-term wellbeing.

She speaks Arabic, English, and French fluently.
