Dr. Dima Yassin

Dr Dima Yassin is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with more than 10 years of specialist clinical experience in women's healthcare. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Tishrin University, Syrian Arab Republic, in 2002. She subsequently completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Syrian Ministry of Health between 2003 and 2008 and was awarded a Master's degree and Specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2008.

Dr Yassin has practised across Syria and the United Arab Emirates in both hospital and outpatient settings. Since 2024, she has worked as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai. Prior to this, she held specialist positions at Al Garhoud Private Hospital from 2016 to 2024, Prime Hospital from 2014 to 2015, and in private clinics and Ministry of Health medical centres in Syria from 2008 to 2013.

Her clinical practice includes antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care, management of low- and high-risk pregnancies, normal vaginal deliveries, assisted vaginal deliveries, elective and emergency Caesarean sections, and obstetric emergency management. Her gynaecological practice encompasses diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, management of menstrual disorders, adolescent gynaecology, menopause and perimenopause care, and infertility evaluation and treatment planning.

Dr Yassin also provides cosmetic and aesthetic gynaecology consultations and procedures. She is a member of the Arab Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society and the Syrian Laparoscopic Surgeons Association.
