Dr Behrad Elahi

Dr. Behrad Elahi is a highly accomplished Specialist Interventional Cardiologist with over 15 years of experience in leading healthcare institutions across Iran and the UAE. He completed his medical degree and subspecialty training at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, graduating with an A+ rank and distinction as the third highest-ranked medical graduate in the country. His advanced training continued at prestigious institutions in Zurich and the UAE, where he refined his expertise in complex interventional cardiology.

Dr. Elahi is internationally recognised for his clinical excellence and innovation in advanced cardiac procedures. His expertise includes complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, robotic PCI, treatment of calcified lesions using rotational atherectomy and intravascular lithotripsy, as well as precision intra-coronary imaging with intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT). He is also certified in aortic structural interventions from Zurich University and holds Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), in addition to certification from the American College of Cardiology (CCKE).

A sought-after lecturer and speaker, Dr. Elahi has presented at major international conferences in London, Paris, Zurich, Istanbul, Cyprus, Beirut, Dubai, and Tehran. He is a three-time winner of the Gulf Interventional Champion Clubs award and has been honored by the World Heart Federation for his contributions to the field.
