Dr. Ayman Shouman

Dr Ayman Shouman is a Professor and Consultant in Ophthalmology, based in Dubai, UAE.

He currently practices as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Spanish Center LASIK and Eye and Cosmetic Dubai, Belhoul European Hospital Dubai and Emirates Hospital Day Surgery and Medical Center Dubai, UAE.

He has several years of experience in ophthalmology. In his current practice, he typically carries out the following procedures:

• Argon laser surgery
• YAG laser surgery
• Lens surgery
• Retina surgery
• Keratoplasty
• Blepharoplasty
• Glaucoma surgery
• Anterior segment reconstructive surgery

He received his MBBCh from Cairo University, Egypt in 1991. He later completed a Fellowship at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, UK and a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Frankfurt University, Germany.

He is also a member of European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons, The American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Institute of Ophthalmology.
