About Dr Mohammad Abdulhafez
Dr. Mohammad Abdulhafez is an experienced ophthalmic surgeon with over 22 years of practice. He received his medical education from Cairo University School of Medicine and completed his fellowships at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, USA. Dr. Abdulhafez's practice areas include plastic eyelid surgeries, lacrimal and orbital surgeries, and reconstructive eye surgeries.
From 2000-2010, he worked as a consultant in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Magrabi Eye Hospitals in Egypt. He has also served as a visiting consultant in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery in Qatar, UAE, Syria, Libya, Yemen, and Morocco.
Dr. Abdulhafez is the first member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) in the Middle East and is a reviewer for the ASOPRS scientific journal. He has published numerous papers in the field of oculoplasty and has been a lecturer at many international meetings. With his extensive experience and expertise, Dr. Abdulhafez is highly regarded in the field of ophthalmic surgery.
