Asma Geitany

Ms. Asma Geitany brings over 8 years of clinical psychology expertise to her practice, holding licences from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon. She is also a distinguished member of the Lebanese Syndicate of Psychotherapists and Psychoanalysts.

Educated at the University of Balamand in Lebanon, Ms. Geitany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology followed by a Master of Arts in both Clinical and School Psychology from the same institution. Her professional journey has seen her work across diverse settings including schools, rehabilitation centers, and associations addressing violence against women in the UAE, Lebanon, and the Sultanate of Oman.

Drawing from this rich background, Ms. Geitany is adept at working with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. She offers individual and group therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and the elderly dealing with psychological distress and mental illness. Her areas of expertise encompass a wide range, including challenging behaviours, ADHD, Autism, intellectual disability, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, panic attacks, phobias, OCD, PTSD, and psychosis.

Ms. Geitany's approach to therapy is multifaceted. She is trained in conducting psychometric assessments such as IQ and projective tests, and she employs psychodynamic and play-based therapies to tailor treatment to each individual's needs. Specialising in psychological assessment, psychodynamic therapy, couple therapy, and play therapy, Ms. Geitany is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care to her clients, helping them navigate their mental health challenges with skill and empathy.
