Dr Arif Khan

Dr. Arif Khan, a British Board-certified Consultant Pediatric Neurologist, is the founder and driving force behind NEUROPEDIA, the region's first comprehensive children's neuroscience center. With a background in General Pediatric training in the UK, he further honed his skills as a Senior registrar in renowned tertiary University hospitals such as the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, University Hospitals of Leicester, and the Queens Medical Center, Nottingham. His expertise in Pediatric Neurology was recognised by the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, which awarded him the CCT (Completion of Certified Training) in the field. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Consultant Pediatric Neurologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester.

During his tenure at the University Hospitals of Leicester, Dr. Khan served as the lead clinician for complex epilepsies, Vagal nerve stimulation, and ketogenic diet in the region. In 2015, he relocated to the Middle East and was appointed as the Head of Children's services at the American Center for Psychiatric and Neurology. There, he played a pivotal role in establishing a children's neuroscience team and served as a Pediatric neurologist in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Dr. Arif Khan is not only a skilled practitioner but also a writer, having authored over 40 peer-reviewed and public health publications. He is a sought-after speaker at academic seminars and conferences, and he has also served as a lecturer for medical students at the University Hospitals of Leicester. Additionally, he has been actively involved in teaching on National training courses for Pediatric Epilepsy. His professional affiliations include Fellowship of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, core membership in the European Pediatric Neurology Society, and membership in the British Pediatric Neurology Association.
