Dr. Anna Paravina

Dr Anna Paravina is an orthodontist and gnathologist who approaches orthodontic care as a comprehensive discipline that extends far beyond tooth alignment. She believes that every patient and every clinical case is unique, and her work is grounded in evidence-based medicine, detailed diagnostics, and highly individualised treatment planning.

In her clinical practice, Dr Paravina views the bite as part of an integrated functional system. She pays close attention to the relationship between jaw position, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), facial balance, and smile aesthetics. By carefully assessing these interrelated factors, she is often able to achieve significant functional and aesthetic improvements through orthodontic treatment alone, without the need for surgical intervention.

Dr Paravina provides orthodontic care for both children and adults, tailoring each treatment plan to the patient’s age, growth patterns, functional characteristics, and the need for long-term stability. 

She completed her dental education at A.I. Yevdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, with training in preventive and general dentistry and an internship in therapeutic dentistry. She later undertook professional retraining in paediatric dentistry at the Academy of Innovative Dentistry, followed by an orthodontic residency at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Postgraduate Education. Dr Paravina has further advanced her expertise through specialised professional courses covering the diagnosis and treatment of vertical and sagittal malocclusions, lingual orthodontics (WIN system), MEAW techniques for open bite correction, advanced orthodontic treatment planning, and advanced cortical anchorage systems.

Dr Paravina speaks both English and Russian and is committed to delivering thoughtful, precise, and patient-centred orthodontic care that supports function, aesthetics, and long-term oral health.
