Dr Ann Mini Mathew

Dr. Ann Mini Mathew is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 31 years of dedicated practice. For 25 of those years, she has served in both private and government hospitals in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.). Before joining Mediclinic Park View, she held the prestigious position of Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at a private hospital in Dubai for 9 years.

Dr. Ann obtained her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Government Medical College in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. She furthered her education by completing the Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2000. Additionally, she holds a fellowship in minimal access surgery.

Her core competencies lie in the management of high-risk pregnancies and a wide range of gynaecological surgeries. These include  laparoscopic procedures for conditions such as ectopic pregnancies, fibroids, ovarian cysts, as well as the removal of the uterus and treatment of endometriosis.She has good experience in vaginal hysterectomies as well.

She does open abdominal surgeries for large fibroids and removal of uterus. Dr. Ann also specialises in hysteroscopic surgeries for submucous fibroids and polyps, demonstrating her expertise in both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
