Dr André Mattos is a plastic surgeon based at Dynastry Clinic in Dubai. His expertise is in HD liposuction and dermatology. He has 30 years of experience and has performed 7,000 surgeries.

Dr Mattos gained his medical degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1987 before specialising in general surgery at the Hospital Clementino Fraga Filho of the UFRJ Medical School. From 1987 to 1988, he worked as an Intensive Care Physician, leading the Intensive Care Center at the Army Central Hospital.

He went on to specialise in plastic surgery with Prof. Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro and became a Specialist in Plastic Surgery in 1992 after taking exams with the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. In 1998, he was elected as a Full Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and presented his work on the surgical treatment of melanoma. He also takes part in the annual congresses in Brazil and other countries.

He is a member of a number of international societies including ASAPS, ASPS, CBC, SBCP, and ISAPS.
