About Dr. Alaa Mohammed
Dr. Alaa Mohammed is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Fakeeh University Hospital. Her clinical scope includes the management of low- and high-risk pregnancies, caesarean sections, preconception counselling, cervical screening, colposcopy, and a broad range of gynaecological procedures. Dr. Mohammed performs abdominal surgeries such as hysterectomy, myomectomy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and ectopic pregnancy management, as well as laparoscopic procedures including ovarian cystectomy, oophorectomy, ectopic pregnancy treatment, and adhesiolysis. She is also experienced in hysteroscopic surgeries and infertility management.
Dr. Mohammed completed her medical degree at Al Mustansiriya University in Iraq in 1994, followed by specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Baghdad University, where her training included exposure to gynaecological oncology in a tertiary care setting. She is certified by the Arab Board in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Baghdad University.
Her career includes roles at Al-Qassimi Hospital and Latifa Hospital, where she served as a senior specialist. She has contributed to medical education at Dubai College and the University of Sharjah. Dr. Mohammed also gained international experience in Canada through registration with the Medical Council of Canada and research in endocrinology and infertility.

Throughout my entire pregancy, I always felt that my well-being and best interedts were her top priority. She listened, she cared, and she acted with both professionalism and heart. Dr.Alaa is not just an outstanding doctor, she is an incredible human being. She is an incredible human being. I will always be deeply thankful for everything she has done for me.
