Dr. Aju Abraham

Dr. Aju Abraham is a Consultant Psychiatrist and the Founder and Medical Director of Retrieve Mind Poly Clinic in Dubai. He has over 27 years of international experience in psychiatry, having practised in the UK, Qatar, India, and the UAE. His areas of expertise include anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, addictions, adolescent mental health, marital and family conflicts, psychotic disorders, and complex psychosocial challenges.

He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Kerala before pursuing specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry and a sub-specialty in Liaison Psychiatry with the Specialist Training Authority of the Medical Royal Colleges in the UK. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from the University of Durham, a Diploma in Evidence-Based Medicine in Anxiety Disorders from the Lundbeck Institute in Denmark, and additional qualifications in Lifestyle Medicine and Clinical Nutrition from Weill Cornell Medicine, Qatar.

Dr. Abraham integrates his medical training with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Lifestyle Medicine, and holistic approaches to deliver personalized and evidence-based care. He has received recognition for excellence in patient care, including awards from the UK NHS and commendations from MIND UK. He has also served as a Member of the Board of Examiners for the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK.
