Ailien Sy

Ailien Sy is a Clinical Psychologist with a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from United Arab Emirates University. She has extensive experience working with individuals of various backgrounds, ages, and psychological conditions. As a member of the Middle East Psychological Association, she is committed to providing versatile and personalised psychotherapy treatments. Sy believes that therapy should be tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. She stays updated with different types of psychotherapies and has certifications in Advanced Grief Counseling and Trauma. She is also skilled in administering psychological assessments and has been involved in research projects, including standardising the Behavioral Assessment System for Children (BASC-3) among the Arab population.

In her practice, Sy takes an integrative approach to treatment planning and execution. She combines therapeutic elements from various theories, including Schema therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other effective brief therapies.

Sy emphasises the importance of mental health and encourages individuals to pay attention to their well-being.
