Dr Zara Latif

Dr Zara Latif is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. She believes in building strong, long-term relationships with her patients, fostering trust and continuity of care. Her approach focuses heavily on preventative health, ensuring that individuals and families are supported through all stages of life. By taking the time to listen to her patients, she ensures they are actively involved in all decisions regarding their health and treatment.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Latif provides holistic medical care across various areas of General Practice. She has a particular interest in women's and children's health, including chronic care management, pregnancy care, family planning, and sexual health. Additionally, she is highly experienced in managing complex pain, mental health conditions, and geriatric health. Her diverse skill set also extends to emergency medicine and performing minor surgical procedures, such as spot skin checks and non-cosmetic lesion excisions.

Dr Latif completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Health Sciences Lahore, Pakistan, in 2009. After relocating to Australia, she obtained her Australian Medical Council Certificate in 2013. Demonstrating her commitment to rural and remote medicine, she was awarded a Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine in 2019. She continues to maintain high standards of clinical excellence through ongoing professional development.
