Dr Zaheera Abed

Dr Zaheera Abed is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning multiple countries, she brings a wealth of international medical and surgical knowledge to her practice. Dr Abed is passionate about supporting patients through all stages of life, offering a reassuring and professional approach to family medicine.

Dr Abed obtained her medical degree (MB BCh) from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She then completed her residency training in major tertiary hospitals across the United Kingdom, gaining valuable experience through various core speciality rotations. Following this, she completed her postgraduate family medicine training in London, where she was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and obtained a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG). Upon relocating to Australia, she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Throughout her career, Dr Abed has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about women's health, antenatal care, and paediatrics, providing supportive care for families and developing minds. Additionally, she has extensive experience in managing chronic diseases, mental health care, and respiratory conditions.
