Dr Ying Yu

Dr Ying Yu is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive primary healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on understanding each patient's unique health journey, offering personalised care that promotes long-term physical and mental well-being. Dr Yu values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel supported and reassured at every stage of their healthcare journey.

Dr Yu completed her Bachelor of Science (Medicine) and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales, qualifying in 2003. She went on to obtain a postgraduate Diploma of Child Health and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005. Committed to supporting the future of her profession, she has also contributed her expertise as an examiner for the Royal College of General Practitioners and as a supervisor mentoring General Practice Registrars.

In her clinical practice, Dr Yu has developed a diverse range of medical interests, with a particular focus on family medicine, women's health, children's health, and mental health. She is passionate about preventative medicine, helping patients manage chronic conditions, and providing holistic care that addresses both physical and emotional health. Her broad expertise allows her to address the varied healthcare needs of patients of all ages, from infants to older adults.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Yu is fluent in both English and Mandarin, allowing her to effectively communicate with and support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
