Dr Yezdi Mistry

Dr. Yezdi Mistry is a fully qualified Specialist Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon with extensive experience across both Australia and New Zealand. He holds Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS Plast) and Board Certification in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery with the Australian and New Zealand Board of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Mistry is dedicated to providing genuine, personalised care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. He takes a thoughtful, patient-focused approach, guiding individuals through every stage of their surgical journey with compassion and transparency.

After completing his FRACS in 2013, Dr. Mistry relocated with his family to Newcastle in 2015. He undertook a microsurgery fellowship at John Hunter Hospital before joining private practice at Hunter Plastic Surgery in 2016 and later establishing his own practice in 2017. He continues to serve as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) in plastic and reconstructive surgery with Hunter New England Health, managing patients requiring skin cancer surgery.

In 2025, Dr. Mistry expanded his practice into a new, state-of-the-art premises in Charlestown, featuring a purpose-built suite designed for patient comfort and privacy, where he performs minor procedures onsite.

Dr. Mistry has a special interest in body contouring surgery following weight loss and continues to advance his expertise through national and international training. He attended the Body Contouring Academy in Paris as Australia’s first delegate, learning from global leaders in the field. He utilises advanced techniques, including VASER liposuction and Renuvion-assisted skin tightening, where appropriate,  to deliver results designed to complement each patient’s natural features.
