Dr Yashesh Kothari

Dr Yashesh Kothari is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families at every stage of life. Dr Kothari believes in building strong, trusting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their healthcare.

Dr Kothari holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2019. Committed to continuous professional development, he also completed a Diploma in Child Health through a prominent children's hospital in Sydney. His extensive clinical training includes valuable experience gained whilst working across major tertiary hospitals, metropolitan clinics, and several regional district hospitals, where he managed diverse medical presentations in emergency departments and inpatient wards.

In his daily practice, Dr Kothari enjoys all aspects of routine general practice, with a particular focus on preventative medicine and chronic disease management. He has developed special clinical interests in skin cancer checks and the surgical removal of skin lesions, as well as chronic pain and diabetes management. Additionally, he is highly skilled in performing minor procedures, including iron infusions, Aclasta infusions, ear wax removal using microsuction, and the insertion and removal of contraceptive devices such as Implanon and IUDs. He also provides supportive care for mental health concerns, including treatment follow-up for patients with diagnosed attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
