Dr Yan Chow

Dr Yan Chow is an Australian-trained and experienced rehabilitation medicine physician. They provide person-centred care and work collaboratively with other specialists, general practitioners and allied health professionals. Dr Chow completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at The University of Adelaide. Dr Chow commenced their medical career in Melbourne. They completed Adult Rehabilitation Medicine training in major public and private hospitals in Melbourne. Dr Chow became a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM), a Faculty of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).

Dr Chow is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician. Rehabilitation Medicine Physicians manage inpatients, outpatients and community patients with medical, musculoskeletal, neurological and neuromuscular disorders. Adult rehabilitation medicine practice diagnoses and treats patients from adolescence and young adulthood through to the very elderly. Patients treated are those affected by function limiting involving the nervous systems (brain, spinal cord, nerves), muscles, bones and joints.

Dr Chow has a subspecialty interest in neurorehabilitation. Dr Chow is the Chair of the AFRM Victoria/Tasmania Regional Committee, Victoria/Tasmania Representative of the AFRM Council and an elected member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Victoria Committee.
