Mr William Truong

Mr William Truong is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes in building strong, trust-based relationships with his patients through open communication and active listening. By involving individuals in decisions regarding their health and well-being, Mr Truong empowers them to make informed choices. He is passionate about staying abreast of the latest medical advancements to ensure that his patients receive the highest standard of care.

With a broad scope of practice in family medicine, Mr Truong provides medical care across all stages of life. He has a particular interest in paediatric health, having completed additional training to support the unique medical needs of children. His clinical expertise also encompasses men's health, general medicine, and preventative medicine. Furthermore, Mr Truong is skilled in performing skin checks, skin cancer surgery, and ingrown toenail surgery, offering patients a diverse range of essential primary care services.

Mr Truong completed his medical education at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2016. He subsequently undertook his specialist General Practice training and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further his expertise in children's medicine, he completed the Sydney Child Health Programme. Demonstrating his early dedication to rural healthcare, he was honoured as the Rural Pathway Registrar of the Year in 2021 by his training provider.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Truong is deeply committed to medical education and the development of future healthcare professionals. He plays an active role in supervising and mentoring Medical Students, Interns, and Registrars during their clinical training. By guiding their learning, facilitating educational opportunities, and providing constructive feedback, he helps shape the next generation of Medical Practitioners.
