Dr Warren Jennings

Dr Warren Jennings is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care with a strong focus on evidence-based medicine. He is deeply committed to delivering culturally safe healthcare, particularly within Indigenous health settings. As a Senior Medical Officer, Dr Jennings combines clinical excellence with a compassionate approach, ensuring that patients receive personalised and respectful care tailored to their unique needs.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Jennings is actively involved in medical education and research. He serves as a Lecturer in General Practice, where he has contributed significantly to training the next generation of medical professionals. His academic work has included co-ordinating Indigenous health curricula and lecturing in rural clinical schools. Dr Jennings is also a passionate researcher, with published work focusing on improving healthcare communication, enhancing the uptake of preventative health checks, and exploring opioid agonist treatment within general practice.

Dr Jennings obtained his primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). Committed to continuous professional development, he completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2013. He further expanded his expertise in community health by earning a Master of Public Health in 2015. He is an active Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting his adherence to the highest standards of general practice.
