Dr. Vishal Gupta

Dr. Vishal Gupta is a dedicated and highly skilled General Paediatrician who is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for children from birth through to eighteen years of age. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, Dr. Gupta works closely with families, educators, and allied health professionals to support the physical, emotional, and developmental well-being of his young patients. He is passionate about helping children navigate their unique developmental journeys and ensuring they reach their full potential.

Throughout his career, Dr. Gupta has developed a deep clinical focus on neuro-developmental and behavioural paediatrics. He possesses extensive expertise in evaluating and managing complex developmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, oppositional defiant disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, he is highly experienced in supporting families with speech and communication challenges, difficult behaviours, and the ongoing care of preterm infants following their discharge from neonatal intensive care units.

Dr. Gupta completed his medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics. To further specialise in child health, he obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH). He is a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting his high standards of clinical excellence and dedication to the field of paediatric medicine. His professional journey includes significant roles as a Consultant Paediatrician, Senior Staff Specialist, and Visiting Medical Officer across various neonatal intensive care units and major hospitals.
