Throughout his medical career, Dr Andrew Ko has gained extensive experience across diverse clinical settings. He has worked as a Surgical Registrar and a State Trauma Registrar at major metropolitan hospitals, honing his skills in acute trauma care and minor surgical procedures. In addition to his hospital-based work, he has a profound interest in preventative health, chronic disease management, and community medicine. Dr Andrew Ko is particularly passionate about supporting vulnerable populations, having previously provided essential medical services to low-income and homeless communities.

Dr Andrew Ko earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Notre Dame Fremantle. During his studies, he was a John Flynn Scholar and graduated from the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia, gaining valuable experience in regional healthcare. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
