Dr Victoria Hunt

Dr Victoria Hunt is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Originally from the United States, she relocated to Australia in 2001 and has since established a diverse medical career across the country. Dr Hunt believes in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, focusing on delivering holistic care tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Dr Hunt completed her medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2004, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her high standards of clinical practice and ongoing commitment to professional development. To further expand her clinical expertise, she also completed a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health, enhancing her ability to support patients with specialised family planning and reproductive healthcare needs.

Before transitioning to General Practice, Dr Hunt gained extensive clinical experience working in various metropolitan and regional hospitals across Queensland, Tasmania, and Western Australia. This broad exposure to diverse medical environments helped shape her comprehensive approach to patient care. She eventually found her true passion in community-based medicine, practising in rural Northern New South Wales. Dr Hunt has developed strong clinical interests in women's health, chronic disease management, and aged care. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in outdoor activities such as surfing and hiking.
