Dr Vadim Mirmilstein

Dr. Vadim Mirmilstein is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with expertise in female and male fertility and IVF, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, General Gynaecology, Obstetrics, and Cosmetic Vaginal Surgery. Dr. Mirmilstein received his training at the esteemed Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Following his foundational training, Dr. Mirmilstein pursued further specialisation, completing a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Royal Women’s Hospital. He furthered his expertise in infertility through training at the Melbourne IVF Reproductive Biology Unit and City Fertility Centre.

Dr. Mirmilstein is highly regarded for his surgical proficiency, particularly in fertility and IVF, advanced endoscopic surgery, and the management of endometriosis. He is among the few Gynaecologists in Melbourne proficient in performing laparoscopic operations such as myomectomies (fibroid removal) and hysterectomies. Fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, Dr. Mirmilstein currently practises and holds admitting rights at prestigious institutions including The City Fertility Centre, the Royal Women's Hospital, Epworth Freemasons & St. Vincent's Private Hospitals, Frances Perry House, and The Avenue Private Hospital.

As an active member of professional organisations such as the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA), the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES), and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), Dr. Mirmilstein remains committed to staying updated with the latest advancements in his field.
