Dr Umeshwor Sinnya

Dr Umeshwor Sinnya is a highly dedicated and reassuring Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist who provides comprehensive cardiac care. As a specialist in cardiovascular imaging, Dr Sinnya has particular expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques. His clinical interests encompass the assessment and management of acute chest pain and coronary artery disease. He is highly skilled in performing and interpreting a range of cardiac investigations, including echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, and coronary angiograms. Additionally, he is fully accredited in computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA) and coronary artery calcium (CAC) scoring, which are vital tools for the early detection and management of heart disease.

Dr Sinnya obtained his primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, from the University of Chittagong. He subsequently relocated to Australia, obtaining his Australian Medical Council certificate in 1993. He completed his advanced specialist training in Cardiology at leading tertiary referral hospitals in Sydney and Canberra. In 2003, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Cardiology. To further support his expertise in advanced cardiac imaging, he also holds Level A CTCA accreditation with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
