Dr Tuan Ha

Dr Tuan Ha is a highly dedicated Consultant Radiation Oncologist who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to patients navigating cancer diagnoses. He treats all malignancies, with a particular focus on delivering personalised treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual. His clinical approach is characterised by a commitment to patient-centred care, ensuring that patients and their families are supported with empathy and clear communication throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Ha completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne before pursuing his medical training at the University of Queensland, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2007. He went on to complete specialist training in radiation oncology, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2015. He is an active member of the professional medical community, serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Radiation Oncology and sitting as a Board Member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, where he also contributes to the Economics and Workforce Committee.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Ha is deeply involved in medical education and advocacy. He serves as a Senior Lecturer and Examiner for the University of Queensland School of Medicine and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, helping to train and mentor the next generation of medical professionals. He has a strong interest in improving access to radiation oncology services in regional and rural areas. His dedication to community service is further demonstrated by his past volunteer work as a Community Medical Officer, for which he was awarded the Queensland Disaster Hero Medal during the 2011 Queensland floods. His broad clinical interests encompass the management of brain, breast, gastrointestinal, head and neck, lung, skin, and urological cancers, as well as palliative medicine and general oncology.
