Dr Trudy Cheng

Dr Trudy Cheng consults with Neurology Network Melbourne at Knox Private and Box Hill. She also works at Alfred Health where she is a visiting neurologist. Dr Cheng has a specific interest in the treatment and management of headache and movement disorders. She has expertise in managing complex headache and migraine conditions and is trained to administer injectable treatments for chronic migraines and cervical dystonia. Dr Cheng is passionate about improving the quality of life for these patients - she is a valued member of the Australia New Zealand Headache Society and has focused her current research on the specialised inpatient management of headache disorders.

Dr Cheng achieved her MBBS from the University of Melbourne in 2007 before completing her neurology training at a number of hospitals including Western Health and Barwon University Hospital. She then spent time training with the headache service, the movement disorder unit, and the acute and chronic pain unit at Alfred Health. Dr Cheng is continually furthering her knowledge in headache and pain medicine and is an advocate for clinical medical education and inter-doctor cooperation.
