Dr Timothy Jones

Dr Timothy Jones is a compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. He believes in building strong, trusting relationships with his patients, offering a reassuring and professional approach to primary healthcare. As a Doctor, he enjoys the diverse nature of family medicine, ensuring that every patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health needs.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Jones has developed key clinical interests that enhance the care he provides. He is particularly passionate about child health and paediatrics, helping families navigate the early years of development. Additionally, he focuses on chronic disease management, assisting patients in managing long-term health conditions to improve their overall quality of life, as well as travel medicine, providing essential advice and preventative care for those planning journeys abroad.

Dr Jones completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) in 2011. Committed to achieving the highest standards of general practice, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further support his young patients, he also completed a Diploma in Child Health (Dip DCH). He undertook the majority of his medical training in the Central West region of New South Wales, gaining valuable experience in regional healthcare delivery.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Jones is deeply involved in medical education and rural health advocacy. He serves as a Rural Academic Leader for a regional university's medical school, where he plays an active role in training and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. He is also passionate about community-led initiatives that aim to strengthen primary healthcare services and improve doctor retention in regional areas, ensuring that rural communities have access to high-quality medical care.
