Dr Thomas Souchen is a dedicated and thorough General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. Originally from Canada, he brings a unique perspective to his medical practice, combining a compassionate clinical approach with a strong scientific foundation. Dr Souchen believes in building trusted, long-term relationships with his patients, ensuring that each individual receives personalised and comprehensive medical attention tailored to their unique health needs.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Souchen is highly experienced in all aspects of family medicine. He has developed particular clinical interests in children's health, chronic disease management, and mental health support. Additionally, he is skilled in aged care, sports injuries, and urgent care, allowing him to support patients of all ages through various stages of life and health challenges. Dr Souchen began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science, initially working as a Biomedical Engineer. He then pursued his medical career in Australia, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland. To further his expertise, he completed a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and undertook extensive speciality training across Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula. Dr Souchen is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is also recognised as an accredited GP Registrar Supervisor, contributing to the training of future medical professionals.
