Mr Beddow completed his undergraduate dental training at the University of Queensland, where he developed a solid foundation in general and preventative dentistry. Driven by a deep interest in oral health and systemic medicine, he subsequently pursued a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. He further expanded his academic and clinical expertise by completing a Master of Philosophy at the University of Sydney in 2024, focusing on advanced research into head and neck cancers and oral pathology.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Beddow is actively involved in dental and medical research. His unique background spanning both dentistry and medicine has fostered a keen interest in oral pathology, endodontics, and the management of complex head and neck conditions. He has contributed valuable research to the field, particularly concerning the tumour microenvironment in head and neck cancers, and serves as an Expert Contributor to Head and Neck Cancer Australia.
