Dr Terrence Bohlsen

Dr Terrence Bohlsen is a highly respected and reassuring General Practitioner based in Armidale, New South Wales. With a strong commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care, he supports individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Bohlsen is uniquely qualified as both a General Practitioner and a GP Anaesthetist, whilst also specialising in GP Obstetrics, allowing him to offer a diverse range of medical services to his patients, from general health management to childbirth and anaesthetic care.

Throughout his career, Dr Bohlsen has focused on delivering high-quality healthcare in regional and rural settings. He is passionate about family medicine, preventative health, and chronic disease management, ensuring that regional patients receive the same standard of care as those in metropolitan areas. Dr Bohlsen began his medical career by completing his initial internship at a major hospital in Sydney, New South Wales. He then entered the General Practice training programme, which included gaining valuable international clinical experience at a hospital near Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Australia, he completed his Registrar training in Moree, where he subsequently practised for a substantial period before relocating to Armidale. He is an active member of the regional medical community and continues to support the development of future General Practitioners.
