Dr Tereza Ghaly

Dr Tereza Ghaly is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a compassionate approach to family medicine, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of her patients at every stage of life. Dr Ghaly believes in delivering personalised healthcare that focuses on preventative medicine, ensuring that each individual receives the guidance and treatment necessary to maintain optimal health.

Dr Ghaly completed her primary medical degree at Ain Shams University in 1989, where she also went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Dermatology. After relocating to Australia in 1995, she successfully completed her Australian Medical Council examinations in 1998. Demonstrating a strong commitment to women's health, she earned a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2000 and was awarded her professional fellowship in 2003. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Ghaly is passionate about medical education and actively contributes to training the next generation of General Practitioners and medical students.

Throughout her career, Dr Ghaly has developed key clinical interests in antenatal care and dermatology, holding advanced qualifications in both fields. Her expertise extends to a variety of specialised procedures, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) such as Mirena, as well as Implanon contraceptive implants. She is also highly experienced in performing minor surgical procedures, such as the excision of skin lesions, and managing routine healthcare needs, including immunisations and vaccinations.
