Dr Tejminder Sandhu

Dr Tejminder Sandhu is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals of all ages. He began his medical career working within the hospital system, gaining extensive experience in intensive care and general medicine at major metropolitan hospitals. In pursuit of delivering holistic and continuous care, Dr Sandhu transitioned into general practice, where he focuses on partnering with patients to support their long-term health and well-being.

With a diverse clinical background, Dr Sandhu has developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports medicine, as well as the clinical applications of medicinal cannabis. He is skilled in performing a wide range of minor procedures and clinical interventions, including skin checks, biopsies, iron infusions, and ear micro-suction. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients receive personalised treatment plans tailored to their unique healthcare needs, whether managing chronic conditions or addressing acute concerns.

Dr Sandhu completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Queensland before obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Australian National University in 2011. Committed to continuous professional development, he completed a Graduate Certificate in Sports Medicine in 2016 and a Professional Certificate of Medicinal Cannabis in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), having achieved his fellowship in 2019.
