Dr Suzanne Koh

Dr Suzanne Koh is a compassionate and highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care. With a clinical approach that prioritises empathy, respect, and evidence-based practice, Dr Koh supports patients through a diverse range of psychological challenges. She possesses extensive experience working within the public psychiatry sector, which has provided her with a deep understanding of complex mental health conditions and the importance of collaborative, patient-centred care.

As a general Psychiatrist, Dr Koh offers expert assessment and management for various psychiatric conditions. She has a special interest in mother-baby psychiatry, helping families navigate the unique emotional and psychological challenges of the perinatal period. Her clinical focus also encompasses psychotherapy, as well as the treatment and management of anxiety disorders, depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. Dr Koh works closely with each individual to design tailored, individualised treatment plans that promote long-term recovery and well-being.

Dr Koh completed her medical education at the University of Melbourne, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1996. Following her medical degree, she completed rigorous specialist training to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). She maintains active professional membership with the college, ensuring her clinical practice remains aligned with the latest advancements in psychiatric medicine.
